Summary of the Issue

After following the guide at How to install Windows 10/11 on a Chromebook for Vell devices, the following hardware doesn’t work:

Webcam - should work per Coolstar

Audio output (speakers) and input (microphone) - not expected to work per Coolstar

Additionally, the computer doesn’t seem to detect USB devices when they are plugged in while the device is on - nothing comes up in Device Manager and its list doesn’t refresh on plug in. I have to restart the computer with the USB device plugged in to get it detected. I experienced this behavior with both a USB mouse and flash drive.

When I installed the IntelMipiCamera drivers per Coolstar for the webcam, these are the components that the installer detected:

OV2740

OV5675

OV8856

HI556

This is what I currently have under Other Devices in Device Manager:

Firmware update. HWID: USB\VID_18D1&PID_5022&REV_0100&MI_00

Host command: USB\VID_18D1&PID_5022&REV_0100&MI_01

Unknown device: ACPI\VEN_INTC&DEV_1079

Unknown device: ACPI\VEN_CSC&DEV_3541&SUBSYS_103C8C08

Unknown device: ACPI\VEN_CSC&DEV_3541&SUBSYS_103C8C08 (duplicate of the above)

Unknown device: ACPI\VEN_CSC&DEV_3541&SUBSYS_103C8C08 (duplicate of the above)

Unknown device: ACPI\VEN_CSC&DEV_3541&SUBSYS_103C8C08 (duplicate of the above)

Any help with this would be much appreciated. This is a new Windows installation that I’m not invested in. So I’m happy to test things that may break Windows.
