is your device the clamshell or convertible version? I cannot reproduce this here at all on my Drallion.

second question : The backlit keyboard of my chromebook 7410 not working in Linux ,ubantu and fydeos , do u have the solution , the backlit kb works In windows but not in other operating systems .
one more question plz :
I have tried so many times to disable write protection from my 7410 chromebook but failed , kindly tell me how to disable the Fw WP as I have disconnected the battery but still the wp was not disabled…

if it’s already flashed with the UEFI firmware, then WP should be disabled otherwise, how could you have flashed the device.
This is what the script is reporting? What OS are you running it from?
thanks for the fast reply , my friend flashed the uefi firmware by removing the ic from the board and flashed through programmer… now I cannot convert it back to chromeos as it shows write protection

There is another problem. When I flip to 360 degrees, I can’t enter tablet mode whether in fydeos, windows, or Ubuntu.
