Audio not working after update

I think what’s happening is that for some reason it is not sending any sound to the jack.

While I don’t have a screenshot as I’m sending this from a 6.5.x LTS system, on my Fedora-running Morphius, audio was working out of the box on Fedora 40 with 6.9.x and above kernels, so I was wondering if there were fixes in newer kernels.

On another note, it looks like someone may have made a guide for getting that sound card working fine on certain chromebooks: GitHub - PiotrZPL/sklnau8825max-on-linux: This guide will present ways of getting the sklnau8825max sound card to work under the mainline Linux kernel

Thanks

But I don’t think I have the same sound card.

The latest update has the mic internal speakers working fine but the audio jack is the only thing that doesn’t work.

I think the problem is that fedora as the has the aim of being the cutting edge linux so all the other distros have 5.12 or what ever fedora has 6.9.9

And I have another problem I can’t really play videos now after the update.

At some point this is going to hit all the Caroline users because of this update.
