Hi, I installed all by coolstar’s guide.UEFI firmware and all drivers. All working good but touchpad not work. There seem to be various driver issues (device manager below). How resolve this problems? Please help me.
sent you a DM, this board needs a custom workaround temporarily
Totally the same issue, do you have any solution?
It seems to be the same problem with all dedede-Board devices. See: Chromebook CX1500CKA Issue with Touchpad and Audio Driver
no, it’s not. It’s a problem with all the GALTIC boards (GALLOP, GALITH, GALNAT).
the issue is that there are two touchpad options which use the same i2c bus/address, so there is no way to know which one is present at boot time. This leads both of them to be marked active, and Windows doesn’t know how to deal with that. I have a workaround but waiting for Google to ok the change on their end before I make it widespead
Ok. Thanks!
Hi, I have the similar problem on my Acer Spin 11 (R751T), but it is related to I2C device and to EC sensor hub, as seen below.
Could I ask for help on how to solve this issue?
Many thanks in advance and best regards.
Piotr
Hi, same problem here with an CX1400FKA, could you share the workaround with me also? Thanks in advance

Hello Mr Chromebox,
Could you please help and write how to fix the yellow exclamation marks on the two devices seen below? My device is Acer R751T.
Thank you in advance for your support and best regards.
I’m still not able to DM since I’m not “basic user”, I’ve done the discobot tutorial but couldn’t find any info about how to gain that status
Hi,i have the same issue here with an CX1400CKA, could you share the workaround with me also? many thanks in advance and merry christmas!!
Hi frosty, hi MrChomebox, I would love to know the workaround as well. Could you post it or DM me the solution? Many thanks in advance. I wish you HAPPY HACKING in 2025! Yours chromi
@frosty @chromi I have just added a new function to the Firmware Utility Script, which will allow you to set the touchpad type in SSFC (secondary storage firmware cache) so that it will work properly under Windows. Simply boot Linux, run the script, set the touchpad type using the menu option, then reboot into Windows. LMK if any issues
@MrChromebox Works fine. Thank you very much!
many thanks my life savior! , god bless you!
