I installing Ubuntu Mate 24.04 on a 2020 Lenovo Flex 5 Chromebook and everything is working. Prior to installation of Ubuntu Mate my chromebook was constantly rebooting. Conversion to install Ubuntu Mate took several attempts to be successful , but the final results was worth it.
