"Windows Failed to install" (Morphius, Windows 11)

When installing windows 11, it progresses to around 75% then a dialog box pops up saying “Windows failed to install”. There is no other error message. Pressing ok on this dialog reboots the laptop. This does not occur when installing windows 10 ltsc 2021.

Windows 11 ISO downloaded from microsoft and put on to a usb drive using rufus.

I attempted the install again using the same usb drive, but this time selecting the ‘previous setup’ option in the windows installer. It installed normally.
