Summary of the Issue

I flash the Windows installation onto a USB Flash Drive and Windows asks for Drivers (probably the eMMC driver). But I don’t have another Windows machine, only Chromebooks. So I was wondering how and if I can fix this problem.

this gets asked weekly - Windows asking for any media drivers during install means 1 of two things: 1) you created the install media incorrectly, or 2) you’re using a stripped/modified ISO.

There are no drivers to load, just fix you install media.

I’m reformatting the USB in Linux, thanks for the advice!

it’s just as much how the ISO is written to USB as which ISO is used, which is why there are instructions in the Chrultrabook docs
