WierdTreeThing Keyboard Map issue with Fedora on Pixelbook Go

I’ve installed Fedora on my Pixelbook Go using the RW firmware and fully updated Fedora. I then tried to install the keyboard config thing, recommended in the guide, but it’s not working for me. The script runs and does it’s thing but doesn’t appear to work. No errors.

I had it working in Opensuse and by just following the instructions on the Github post.

Anyone have any suggestion for how I can diagnose this?

I figured this out on my own. It turns out the script wasn’t installing keyd for some reason.

I ended up just installing keyd from source following the instructions on the github. Then I ran the WeirdTreeThing script and everything worked.

May help someone else.
