i was trying to change the screen brightness on my hp chromebook 11 g6 but when i tried to open ectool it just immediately closed. I had installed windows 10 on my chromebook and installed all the drivers from the coolstar website, and everything else works fine. When i open the exe file for ectool, i see the command prompt window open for a split second and then suddenly it closes. does anyone know any fixes?
