I see an auction for a bunch of dell 5400 chromebooks which may or not be still enterprise enrolled. Most likely will not bid but I was curious why only the two whiskeylake cpu boards have no full firmware? Just curious if there is something fundamentally wrong with these chromebooks as opposed to everyone else.
because they are Frankenstein devices running a Dell EC (not Google ChromeEC), have no way to unbrick, no way to debug (no serial).
