Which method should I use? (CR50 SuzyQ, Battery)

Hi,
I have an Acer Chromebook 15” CB315-3HT-P297. According to Supported Devices | MrChromebox.tech I can see that HWID/Board Name is “BLORB” - I checked it myself and it is correct.

But now the WP method says: CR50 (SuzyQ, battery) - does this mean that I need ONLY a cable or that I can do this ONLY with the battery? Or do I have to do/use BOTH?

I unplugged the battery as a test and connected a power supply, but it won’t boot. (I used this one FINIBO USB C Ladegerät 300W: 7-Ports USB schnellladegerät mehrfach mit 4 USB-C und 3 USB-A, USB c ladegerät mehrfach Dual-PD PPS Charger USB c für MacBook Pro/Air,iPad Pro/Air,Sumsung: Amazon.de: Computer & Zubehör)

The light on the charging socket only flashes orange, but the laptop won’t turn on. As soon as I plug the battery back in, the PC boots and can also be charged normally with the charger.

If I need a SuzyQ cable, where can I buy one? It needs also to be shipped to Germany.

I just want to wipe ChromeOS and the Bootloader, flash the full UEFI ROM and install Linux Mint.

Thank you very much

You need the cable OR disconnect battery. However, if your CB won’t boot without battery then you will need the cable. I would try with a different ac adapter before buying a cable though, if you have a 65w adapter, try that.

This is the best option for a Suzyq cable, imo:

Ok, thank you. I will try that. If it is not working, than I will buy that cable.
When I am ready, I will answer here again.
