I know this seems unrelated to this category, but there is no other general discussion category. But now that Google is putting Android on Chromebooks, will putting Linux on Chromebooks become a living hell like how hard it is to flash Android ROMs? Will Google port over the anti consumer “security” features like having specific “devices trees” and custom builds for each Chromebook and fastboot and making chances of bricking your device higher and yelling at you that your bootloader is unlocked on every boot (more minor issue, altfw does that also). Oh and dont even get me started on what vendors might do (i say might since ChromeOS doesnt have vendor skins), they might force you to use their custom service tool that has its own can of worms… Please no
