WeirdTreeThing's Keyboard map script doesn't work [MORPHIUS]

Summary of the Issue

Hello again, I’m having issues with the CROS Keyboard map script by WeirdTreeThing, the script runs perfectly fine and all but for whatever reason the Special keys still operate as Special keys instead of Fn keys whenever I press both the Search and Special keys, I did install Keyd as well as even restart Keyd manually due to me using OpenRC, I am aware Gentoo is not supported but the same time though I refuse to use Arch Linux, so please help me if you can and please don’t spam me with “lmao just use Arch Linux you idiot Gentoo sucks”, Thanks in advance.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run script

  2. Press both the Search and Special Keys

  3. Something should happen but nothing happens

Expected Behavior

The Special keys when combined with the Search Key should act as Function keys.

Btw, the reason I don’t want to switch to another distro is because I can’t be asked to go through all the effort of backing up data, installing an new OS, installing all my programs and a whole bunch of configuration just to get a singular script working, plus I’m happy with Gentoo and also I don’t want to become one of those annoying Arch users. (no offense)
