Hello,
I am using a Lenovo Flex 5i with Fedora Ultramarine installed. Unfortunately, when connecting my laptop using USB-c to a monitor it does not work and when connecting it to a DP dock only mouse and keyboard work. I have done the post-fix for the USB-c port with dracut and also tried messing around with ectool typeccontrol but nothing helps. I have switched from Pop os where the issue also arised (earlier it did work with the Debian workaround in the docs, so maybe some Linux update broke it?).
Although I can’t offer any advice or help for OP, I came here to say I am facing this exact same issue.
- I followed the post-install guide, which got my mouse and keyboard etc working.
- I followed some of the stuff in this thread: HDMI through Thunderbolt 4 port not working on Redrix
- Also tried this: Modern Chromebook Setup Guide (with thunderbolt fixes)
- I tried generally playing around with ectool, with no luck.
Any support here from anybody would be greatly appreciated.
