Unable to see boot picker

Hello there,

When I run the Hackintosh installation USB, I’m unable to access the recovery environment. The problem occurs when I try to run the boot picker. I get stuck right when it tries to load the OpenCore Boot Picker.

At first, I saw a black screen, which I was able to fix by updating the BIOS to the latest version. Then, I got the same error shown in the image, but with HFS. I fixed that by reverting to the previous version. Now I see this.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Acer Chromebook CB-1H-C75Z

Intel Celeron N4020

Thanks

you’ve provided absolutely zero information about your device and what you’re trying to do. How do you possibly expect anyone to be able to help?

Sorry for not attaching enough info. I edited it for delivering more info

what do you mean “the boot picker for recovery mode”? No such thing exists.

you need to be explicitly clear about what you have done and are trying to do.

I am unable to load the OpenCore Boot Picker for accessing the recovery mode that allows me to install macOS.

Updated again the description of the issue, sorry again for not being totally clear. Thanks for wanting to help with my case.

I can’t see those boot options:

SMH.

what makes you think that will work on your Chromebook?

It should work but the GPU isn’t metal capable so no graphics acceleration.

Mr. Chromebook, are you interested to help me, or should I go somewhere else?

It’s fine if you ignore this message, you don’t want to, or you don’t know how to.

I don’t know anything at all about Mac OS or hackintoshing

Ok, thanks for letting me know. What channel you recommend me to move on, Discord or Reddit Chrultrabook community? Or both?

neither? I don’t know anyone hackintoshing on a Celeron. you’ll probably have better luck on dedicated forms for hackintoshing

I asked, in one of them and they blamed the firmware. Maybe I have more look in huger hackintosh groups.

I don’t know what to say about that, I do zero testing and make zero guarantees about suitability of the firmware for hackintoshing

Ok, thanks for giving support here!
