Summary of the Issue
I have an ASUS Chromebox 3 that is currently MDM-enrolled. I can access Recovery Mode without any issues, but I can’t enable Developer Mode. Pressing Ctrl+D at the recovery screen does nothing, even though this model appears to be supported.
I’ve also tried performing a Powerwash (both before and after signing in) following the note in the tutorials ( Developer Mode | MrChromebox.tech ), but the result is always the same: nothing happens in recovery mode.
(edit) I also opened the device and removed the WP screw properly, following the images provided.
Is the MDM enrollment preventing Developer Mode from being enabled, or is there another step I’m missing? Has anyone successfully enabled Developer Mode on this hardware while it was enrolled?
Thank you so much to anyone willing to help! Any advice would be appreciated!
