Touchscreen not working

HP FX360 11 G3 JC N4500 Board - DRAWCIA Win11

Using latest driver shown - 2.9.5

At first installed drivers in order from top to bottom. When that didn’t work reinstalled Windows and did touchscreen first. Still nothing. Today reinstalled all drivers in order top to bottom again. Stll nothing.

DRAWCIA has multiple touchscreen types that cannot be automatically determined at boot. Select the correct one in the UEFI settings (if you know it from booting Linux) or just try them in order

I actually tried that on the second install without success. Should I have gone to find and delete all the touchscreen drivers before I tried one at a time?

no, drivers for devices not present are not installed/used

Tried one at a time again. No luck. Looking over some notes from when I started this project I had noted that the screen is an AUO288C.

Is there a driver for another Chromebook that uses this panel that I could try?

that’s not a valid touchscreen type. Set the type to auto, boot a Linux Live USB and check from there which you have, then set the correct type for Windows

I spent the day yesterday trying to find the name using Ubantu Live from a USB stick without success. So I’m going to give up. Especially since the audio driver I purchased doesn’t work claiming I’ve tampered with it.

I appreciate the help you’ve given me.

why did it take all day?

sudo dmesg | grep input

is all you need.

the audio driver needs to be activated, as per the readme included with it.
