Touchpad worked once then never again

System Details

  • Device: nissa/uldren360
  • OS: Windows 11 25H2
  • Firmware Type: UEFI Full ROM
  • Firmware Version: 2606.1
  • Internal storage type: eMMC

Summary of the Issue

Installed all the drivers needed from Coolstar’s website (website did not have a page for uldren360, but it had one for Uldren, so that’s where I got the drivers from sicne it seemed close enough), including the paid ones for USB4 and audio hardware. Touchpad didn’t work at first, but after installing the paid USB4 and audio drivers, touchpad worked. One system reboot later, and I cant seem to get the touchpad to work again for the life of me. Literally no input is received. Reinstalling the touchpad drivers, rebooting, etc. has done nothing. Other than the touchpad, everything else works as intended.

Steps to Reproduce

No clue

Expected Behavior

Touchpad should always be working

Update: rebooted just now after letting it sleep overnight, and the touchpad works
Now that it works, is there something I should check? I don’t want to reboot and lose all touchpad functionality again.

Update two: one wake from sleep mode later and the touchpad has lost all functionality

Nobody can help with “it doesn’t work” - you have to provide some context and detail. I’m not saying to use a LLM to debug, but you can certainly ask it “what info should I provide to help others help me”. I’ll get you started:

  • which touchpad? Uldren has 2 options
  • what does Device Manager show as the status when it’s non-functional?
