Issue:
After a normal shutdown from the Windows Start menu (“Shut down,” not Sleep/Hibernate), the screen goes fully black and the system appears powered off — but the power button LED stays lit indefinitely. It does not go off on its own. I have to long-press the power button (several seconds) to force the LED off completely.
Steps already ruled out:
Fast Startup is disabled in Windows Power Options (confirmed off, not the cause)
No USB devices or peripherals connected at time of shutdown — light persists even with everything unplugged
Not a sleep/hibernate misconfiguration — “When I press the power button” and shutdown behavior are both set correctly in Windows Power Options
Question:
Is this a known ACPI/power-state issue with the current MrChromebox build on Redrix (similar in nature to the open sleep-wake issues #587 and #851 on this repo), or should I be looking at something Windows-side instead? Happy to pull dmesg/EC logs or test a different firmware build if that helps narrow it down.
