I want to connect my Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook code name Lillipup to an external display using thunderbolt or USB-C to HDMI. But it doesn’t recognize the display. Any ideas on how to fix this, people who have had similar issues and people with any ideas at all on how to fix this please let me know!
(Note im running Linux Mint 22, with the newest firmware available, i have updated my MrChromebox Utility Script to the newest version)
Only USB hotplugging worked for me. I always had to use the command for HDMI through USB-C on Redrix. Some other people had to use the command on their 12th gen Chromebooks too.
Hi, I am also using a Lenovo Flex 5i, with a fresh Fedora (Ultramarine) install. I did this workaround, but the usb-c to monitor both with a hub and directly does not work for me. Using the ectool command also does not help.
I changed from Pop OS where it also did not work for some reason, I do remember it working some time ago though…
