I am going to use the GSC Debug Board to disable the firmware WP (obviously!). If everything goes alright, and the WP value is 0, can/must/should I disconnect the board before running the MrChromebox script?

It doesn’t matter if the board is connected. At this point you don’t need the board anymore so there isn’t any usefulness in leaving it plugged in. It’s basically just another USB device. I’m not 100% sure, but leaving the board connected is similar to leaving a mouse plugged in while running the script - it’s not going to cause problems.
