The deprecated google spreadsheet for supported devices Chromebook Linux Compatibility - Google Sheets still shows up in many older tutorials, but it says

This link is non-existent, and new users may not know where to look up.
Whoever owns the google spreadsheet, can you please point it to the current link Supported Devices and Platforms | Chrultrabook Docs
The tutorials you’re mentioning aren’t written by the community, are they?
No. But the users may google how to install linux after getting a chromebook, find the spreadsheet, click on the dead link, find 404 error, and give up (they would end up not finding our community).
The easiest fix is to replace the dead link with the working link.
I brought this up forever ago, asked someone with access to change it, but I was told “there are no links to that spreadsheet anywhere anyways”. I don’t see why changing a link is so hard
