When I go through “archinstall” it says I got no room, I feel like I’ve tried everything but there’s definitely something I’m missing I have a acer CB315-3H Chromebook. Wondering what I should do
Easiest thing would be to install a distro that’s easier to install and has an installer that doesn’t fail as often. This could be a bug in archinstall. Every time I tried to install Arch on a real Chromebook (not VM) archinstall failed.
Yeah what I did to fix it was manually install it, pain in the butt. Butt (lol) really nice to see it work!
It may be worth it since you can now say “I use Arch btw”
Nah yeah lmaoo but r u able to help me with another problem? I got gnome setup and then I tried to open up command prompt and my laptop froze… literally no keys worker nothing so I shut off my computer by unplugging the battery, now it doesn’t turn on no matter what I do. Any way to fix this?
Idk. Why would you unplug the battery? You can just hold down the power button until it turns off.
Ayy yeah honestly stupid decision I ain’t techy or none of that I’m just trying to challenge myself, I ended up fixing it now it turns on but still my laptops freezes every time I click on an app on my laptop
