I have a Lenovo Chromebook 3i-15 with full EFI already installed, and I recently installed EndeavourOS (an Arch-based distro). The installation went smoothly, but I’m having issues during boot.
When I power it on, it often freezes during the boot process. The text logs appear, but at some point, it just stops, and the CPU heats up a lot. However, after 3 or 4 restarts, the computer starts working normally again.
I’m not sure how to troubleshoot or fix this issue, so I could really use some help.
I don’t know why, but sometimes when I boot up the Chromebook, it gets stuck on loading. Maybe it’s something related to RF kills or something else that causes the CPU to heat up.
I tried the fix you suggested from the Arch Wiki, and it worked for a short time, but now it’s not working anymore.
My bad, i wrote in wrong piace. I had to write it in the arch wiki For another computer.
however the problem remains:
Every time I turn on the PC it freezes on startup. the only thing that allows me to start the chromebook is resetting it several times. I can’t figure out what the problem is.Possible missing drivers?
