Should i install windows on my chromebook?

I’ve had another chromebook before, it was a HP Pro C640 with an i5 10th, I used the linux developer option to install linux apps and emulators and they all ran well, including ps2 with 4x resolution. Then I instaled Windows and it stopped working after a while. Now I had to get another one, and I bought a Lenovo Yoga c630 with an i7 8th. I was expecting for it to be better than the previous one, so I installed the emulators on ChromeOS again and it couldn’t even run PCSX2, getting like 9fps. I don’t know if that’s an OS limitation or if it’s really hardware related. Should I install Windows?

no.

Ok, but why tf is it worse than the i5 one? And why should i not install windows?

you’re asking why an 8th-gen chip (which is really a 7th-gen chip rebranded) is slower than a 10th-gen one? You can plug the 2 CPUs into any online comparator and have your answer.

Your post implied that you wanted to install Windows to get better performance out of the emulators. That’s not going to help, so the answer is no.

Oh sorry i didn’t know the i5 10th was better than the i7 8th. But still, it’s not THAT better, so i think there’s a problem. Now i’m not even asking for help, initially i just wanted to know if it was a OS problem. Thank you tho
