When the device is suspended with the lid closed and I plug in the charger, it behaves strangely. The Chromebook briefly wakes up, then immediately goes back to sleep (the charging light turns blue for a moment, then changes to red).
After that, when I open the lid, the screen is frozen or completely black — it never resumes properly. The only way to recover is to hold the power button to force a hard reset.
A similar thing also happens when using the power button to resume from suspend — it wakes for a moment, then suspends again, and the screen ends up frozen or black.
