Trying to disable wp by disconnecting battery, but it keeps showing the developer mode screen then restarting. Is my Chromebook just faulty or something?

I’m having the same issue on another Reef Chromebook (Asus Chromebook Flip C213SA)
I dont think its faulty, it may be a quirk with the platform
I’ll keep you updated if i find a fix to the issue
