Rebinding Chromebook Keyboard Driver: Remap Function Keys Default (Left Ctrl -> Right Ctrl) on Acer Chromebook 14 for Work (Lars) - Windows 11

I’m running Windows 11 on my Acer Chromebook 14 for Work (Lars Skylake), using MrChromebox’s UEFI firmware and the standard CoolStar/Chrultrabook keyboard drivers.

Everything works great, but I’m looking to tweak the default behavior of the Function keys modifier (the top-row keys). By default, the Windows keyboard driver maps the top row to media/system keys, and you have to hold down the Left Ctrl key to use them as actual F1 through F10 keys.

Because of my workflow/gaming layout, I want to swap this behavior so that Right Ctrl acts as the Function modifier instead of Left Ctrl (or completely swap the functions of Left and Right Ctrl specifically for the top-row overlay).

Has anyone successfully done this for the Skylake/Lars driver?
