Do i short it, flash UEFI firmware then remove the cable, or do i keep the jumper cable there forever? thanks for answering.
Also i use an Acer Chromebook Spin 314, the 8GB RAM version with a touchscreen and no pen support.
you use a cable or a jumper, not both.
if you use a paperclip or similar, then just shut down after flashing and remove the jumper.
if you use a bit of solder, no harm in leaving it.
Thank you, i’ll do the paperclip method (if i can stop thinking about the chance that it touches something it should not have and fries my laptop)
