PixelBook (PixelBrick). any chances to restore this thing?

hi. long time ago my pixelbook bricked itself. he got heap corruption BSOD, and after that he doesn’t turn on. i know flashing full rom UEFI is very risky, and after that it very hard to unbrick. (if something goes wrong)

so, I ordered suzy-q adapter, and I have a question. is even possible to unbrick that with with suzy-q adapter? I didn’t find ANY information about unbricking that thing.

I can’t send it to repair shop, in my country chromebooks is rare thing, and almost everyone don’t know what is that. also I can’t send it to US to repair it. delivery will be VERY expensive.

I want to restore it to original state, to chrome os.

In the worst scenario you would need to reflash the SPI NOR chip which contains the IFWI, including BIOS.

i know about that. i mean for that device specially. i didn’t find any success or fail unbricking on internet.

jesus. i don’t want to do that. also i dont want change motherboard, bc its i7, 512rom,16ram. i can order one pixelbook which have same config, but its gonna be 400$ min.

there’s nothing special about unbricking that device that is any different from any other device for which you can flash with a SuzyQ. though from your description of the issue, I’m not convinced that reflashing the firmware will resolve the problem
