I have just installed Windows 10 on my Pixelbook Go (Atlas - i5-8200Y). All working well, I have bought the Coolstar sound drivers and those work great.
But I can’t seem to get hdmi output / secondary display to work. I have tried a couple of dongles with no luck. Am I missing a driver for this, or is it never going to work?
I am completely confused about this issue, as I can’t find mention of it anywhere else. Is this a graphics driver issue, or something to do with the usb-c ports?? The hdmi audio is obviously also not working.
I’m disappointed with the lack of support here. After paying for the sound card drivers etc. I find out that hdmi / secondary display support doesn’t work on Windows for Pixelbook Go.
Please update the compatibility chart to show that Pixelbook Go on Windows doesn’t have external display support. If I had known this beforehand, I would not have gone through the install process.
Agreed. Interestingly, the external monitor will mirror the contents of Pixelbook’s main LCD during POST and just before Windows starts its video driver.
