Pixel Slate i7-8500Y Nocturne - Windows 11 Driver Issues

Hello Everyone

I have a Pixel Slate i7-8500Y Nocturne, and I’ve been running Windows 11 on it for a few years now, installed using the recommended method with a SuzyQ Cable and MrChromeBox script. Recently, I noticed that Coolstar had updated or implemented some drivers for Windows 11, which I installed last night.
ere are the issues I’m currently facing:

  • Keyboard Backlight: The backlight on the keyboard doesn’t work. This is the lowest priority for me.
  • Audio Buttons: The audio buttons on the side of the device do not function. This is the feature I wish to have working the most.
  • Webcam Light: The webcam light is constantly lit up, which is a bit annoying, is it possible to disable it via registry or something?.

What I’ve Done So Far:

  • I searched for solutions before posting and also checked the Discord, but I refrained from asking there to avoid any potential rule violations.

I found the GitHub repositories associated with the updates mentioned by Coolstar originally in discord as below.

  • CoolStar — 28/02/2023 5:24 PM - got the pixel slate volume buttons working in Windows :slightly_smiling_face:
  • CoolStar — 28/02/2023 5:30 PM - crosecbus + crosecvivaldi updates

However, I’m unsure how to proceed from here. I assumed these functionalities would be included in the original drivers, but if anyone has advice on how to get these features working, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for any help you can provide!
