*I mean the non function keys like refresh, brightness, back, and all that.
If using Linux follow the documentation for adding keyboard support:
I’m using fedora which has everything except audio and side volume buttons. The audio script did nothing.
Ahh, Sorry, maybe the scripting need to be updated for Fedora 41, or the kernel version
I know it worked for me on Fedora 40, on a couple of different CBs. Not Jasper Lake, though.
Side buttons may be a different thing altogether.
Yeah the side buttons is different. What can I do to fix audio?
I have no idea, really. You might try reverting to a 6.11 kernel and see if that works for the time being, but otherwise I can’t say. I don’t know what the underlying issue is. I don’t see many reports anywhere about Jasper Lake devices and audio, so the brand new kernel in Fedora might be the issue.
How do I revert?
You will need to find Fedora-specific resources for that, or someone with relevant experience chimes in. I don’t know off the top of my head, but it will probably be just finding the correct package to install.
But you should be able to choose a previous kernel in your Grub boot menu, if you have one (if this isn’t a super fresh install that hasn’t been updated). If that doesn’t show, you might need to hold the shift or esc key during boot.
I don’t have a Fedora install at the moment - I don’t really care for dual booting very often. A good reason to get another system, lol!
I have updated it with sudo dnf upgrade because it didn’t boot at one point. Went into the alt tab f3 menu.
