I have been having problems getting my 256 GB micro sd card to be recognised for installing the software onto. Should I use another storage expansion? I am trying to install windows 10 on it. And what would the minimum amount of space be needed for windows 10.
I tried with an SD card first last night for booting win11 installer, didn’t work so I had to use a usb. Someone on MS forums says you need at least ~5GB for the bootable usb and google says you’ll need around 32 GB storage just for the system files. Good luck!
The windows installer doesn’t recognize external storage, for obvious reasons in my opinion.
You’d need to use something like Rufus and select the “windows to go” option, which is made to be run from a usb.
