First off I want to say Thanks for all the things you do to help others. I installed many different distros to find one I like. I’m trying to install OpenSUSE tumbleweed. When I try to install it doesn’t show my drive that I want to install on. Haven’t had that problem on any other distro. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix the issue? I’m using a HP n200 14a-nf0131wm. Thank you for any help.
Is this issue specific to OpenSUSE tumbleweed? Is the drive detected by other Linux distros? Is the firmware detecting the drive?
Yes, iis specific to OpenSUSE tumbleweed. The drive is detected and installs all other distros. The firmware detects it
I read somewhere that you have to switch your BIOS from RAID to AHCI mode. Is that possible to do with mrchpmebox firmware?
No
I will admit defeat for now. I’m getting used to Ubuntu. Thanks for the replies.
