Hi @MrChromebox yesterday flashed efi full rom in my chromebook pujjoteen (recognized as pujjoteen15w) but sometimes boot, sometimes not. There are some topics one year ago with very similar issue but seem there is not solution or fix for that problem? Thanks.
Installed Windows 10 and same thing; random failure to boot.
By the way, coolstar site says Windows 10 isnt supported but all devices are working fine.
Any news about this failure? @MrChromebox only a question, if i need several cycles (on/off) for boot is dangerous for eMMc drive? Or is better idea flash original fw in the meantime? Thanks.
I have no idea about this issue, it’s not a universal problem with ADL-N devices with eMMC, and going to be very hard to debug without an affected device on hand
Hi, in ubuntu (live usb) always the eMMc get detected…
Is possible add or set a timeout to UEFI Firmware for detect internal drives?
Ubuntu has a completely different set of drivers for initializing eMMC drives vs edk2.
there’s a build-time setting in coreboot to set the SD/eMMC timeout, but I have no idea offhand if that actually has any effect on eMMC drives not being detected
Can you modify that setting or make visible in UEFI Firmware for test? I would like try.
In older machines, this timeout in bios was used for initialize hdd (i guess). Thanks.
