Summary of the Issue
So I recently got myself an old chromebook to tinker with. I am quite new to this whole thing so bear with me. I had the idea to put Linux on this Chromebook, so i looked online and someone said something about the mrchromebox.tech website. I followed the instructions on there, and it looked like the firmware was correctly installed. It did not come up with any errors whatsoever. After the install it returned to the main menu, and I hit R for reboot. Then the lights on the front of the device indicating battery state and if the device was on or not went out, but did not come back on. After that i pressed the power button (the lights on the front did come on), did not see anything on the display (the backlight also did not come on), and i let it sit for a good 2 minutes.
Steps to Reproduce
-
Install UEFI full ROM
-
Hit reboot
Expected Behavior
What should have happened is that the display should’ve turned on and displade the coreboot logo.
I hope you can help.
