My friend uses a HP G7 EE Chromebook, and he has tried using the weirdtreeaudio script which didn’t help at all. If theres anybody, and I mean anybody that can help I would really appreciate it as this issue is extremely frustrating and unfair as I myself have audio but not him.
I got a different model than you but was experiencing similar issues, I fixed it by downloading pavuaudio then selecting pro audio
I think it could fix it possibly because on pulseaudio it says he has no audio
I can highly recommend you try either Bodhi or Q4OS if you are having audio issues. Both of these fixed the audio issues i had running linux.
