Newbie quick question: reflashing with Guest account?

Hello. I would’ve asked this in the Discord, given it’s a rather insignificant question, but I’ll do it here since that’s locked.

I want to know if I can run the MrChromebox firmware utility script under the Guest account.

I have a Chromebook of boardname CANDY C2A-D6I-U2Q-A8V. I already powerwashed my Chromebook, enabled Developer Mode and got rid of the WP screw.

However, I haven’t quite got to log into a Google account, because apparently ChromeOS doesn’t seem to like 100-300 kbps Internet speeds, so it insists that I can’t log in because there’s no Internet connection, and only lets me access that Guest account, in which Internet works correctly regardless. Though it eventually does jump to the Google account login prompt after a few eternities of disconnecting and re-connecting, I feel impatient and lazy to pull that.

you can log in as a guest, but you don’t need to log in at all – just open a VT2 terminal from the login screen

Though, one last question – is there a guide to backup/dump the stock firmware into an USB stick?

the script provides that option when flashing the UEFI Full ROM firmware
