So basically, I wanted to dual boot linux on my chromebook, so I followed all the steps through the docs using RW_LEGACY, dev mode, etc, it all worked fine, and I could dual boot Xubuntu. But, doing so left me with really few internal memory space, so I wanted to remove Xubuntu entirely from my system and leave only ChromeOS again.
No problem! Using the Chrome Recovery Utility, flash a copy of ChromeOS onto the flash drive. Turn off the computer and press the Escape + Refresh + Power keys. Plug in the USB or SD, and the firmware will be removed automatically, leaving you with just ChromeOS. If you’re planning to sell the laptop, turn on Normal Mode (will wipe data) by pressing Space and Enter (older laptops) or return to Secure Mode (newer laptops).
