Need help finding Wifi Hardware

I disassembled my CELES Chromebook in an effort to remove the write protection screw and in the progress I had to disconnect the wifi cable. I thought I reconnected everything well, but it appears that my device is still unable to connect. I do not know what the wifi card looks like and my research online was not helpful.

that’s a shit picture which makes it hard to see anything. luckily I can just google it and iFixit has a decent one:

you can see the WiFi module on the daughtercard to the far left with the 2 antenna leads connected to it

if your WiFi isn’t working then it’s likely the ribbon cable that connects the daughtercard to the mainboard, and I’d assume everything else on that card is non-functional as well

I tried to disconnect / reconnect the cables and now my device will not power on. Do you know why?

electrostatic shock possibly?

what cables are you referring to?

These two. It was working fine prior to me interacting with them, expect the wifi issue, but now it won’t turn on at all.

well, RIP I guess.

Obviously you can try re-seating them but if you shorted something then that’s not going to do any good
