Hello!
I just tried flashing the firmware on this device by following the guide and disconnecting my battery to disable WP.
After the flash completed I initiated a reboot but it wouldn’t start. All it does is flash the light on the button and spin the fan briefly and nothing else.
I’m not sure what other detail to include here but can I somehow recover from this?
Not at all the same model but I just noticed my experience seems rather similar to Berknip HP Chromebook 14b-na0010nr unresponsive, do I have no choice but to buy a SuzyQ cable (and would that work with me having followed the battery procedure?), I’d rather avoid that if I can since shipping seems quite expensive.
I’m OP from that thread. I just bought the little dongle from eBay, and after several tries flipping cables around, I was able to follow the unbrick process.
Note: It was the right side USBC port, I left the CB battery and power unplugged, and it took several reboots of my Ubuntu 24.04 working laptop to complete the porcess. That and I could only successfully restore to stock.
