Summary of the Issue
This chromebook requires me to remove the battery for write protect, so each time I have removed the battery and plugged it in. But each time I try to boot with the battery connected and it being plugged in (to jump start it) it shows a black screen and then the light and screen flash in quick succession, then loops like that. I have isolated the problem by trying to boot into different distros, and running the script again WHILE the battery is plugged in after connecting it after booting. I have discovered that it simply cannot boot when solely on battery, I do not believe it is dead since it booted fine on battery when on chrome os.
