I have Lenovo c13 yoga aka Morphius, and without instaling ec driver keybord works fine, but i cant use orginal shortcuts like refresh or brightness adjust. Using laptop in tablet form is also problem, os doesnt recognize is it folded or not and dont switch ui of system, but autorotation of screen works. After install full ec drivers with keyboard remap, shortcuts work but there is more problems. Volume buttons on side of the device have strange functions, on firefox vol+ opens context menu, on desctop it does nothingt etc. Also with key remap trackpoint and three buttons under keybord doesnt work. System know is it in laptop or tablet mode, but screen rotation doesnt work. For now im using computer with installed full ec drivers, and after that i uninstall keyboard remap, so i have working ec driver, trackpoint, volume buttons on side, but there is drawback in example for changing brigtnes i need to open quick setting, cannot use delete key, or instant mute the speakers.
update the latest firmware trackpoint should work…and keyboard key are swap with F1-12 key…to use the shortcut press ctrl than the desire key…and the volume can be fix by app called autohotkey there you have to create a custom shortcut to swap F10-F11 with volume up and down.
Trust me, I tried. I have newest fw installed, but the problem is with the keyboard remap driver. Sensors aren’t working correctly, I need to put laptop to full tablet mode to have working auto rotation function. I cannot use ‘tent’ mode. Volume keys is not that big problem, but trackpoint isn working whatever I will do after install key remap. The same problem I have in my previous Chromebook Acer spin 13 cp713, and there is no other solution I can find to this problem.
A little update. Last time im using my device i installed full ec drivers with keyboard bindings, for me i prefer to have quick access to change brightness or have shortcut to “delete” key, than working trackpoint. Then i put my yoga to sleep for maybe 2h, after that i have notification about windows defender update (i have turned off updating drivers via windows update) and i need to full reboot my laptop. After that, miracle happen… Trackpoint is working fine… i dont know what to say… For now i need only to work out what to do with side volume buttons to get it to work normally.
EDIT:
Nevermind… After next reboot trakcpoint doesnt work… to have working volume keys i used app called keyTweak, and asign side buttons to volume control by changing registry.
EDIT2: After spending all day with testing multiple configurations of windows and drivers i can say that ec drivers for keyboard is definitely fu**** maybe for all convertible devices… the same situation is on lenovo 500e and acer spin 13. For now in my personal yoga c13 i have worked out how to make functional trackpoint, rotate sensor, shotcuts on keyboard and also volumekes but the most important thing to do is no to mess with windows update. After clean instal first of all is install all the drivers from coolstar site, after reboot use snappy driver installer, and update all drivers apart from camera drivers - this one is broken. When sdi install everything then use program called key tweaker to remap volume keys and restart device. Voilà, everything works. Only downside of this way is not working trackpoint right after boot. In my case i need to put device at least one time to sleep to get it working or use laptop for some time.
Install ec driver and it stops working or its behaviour will be strange. I tested this on two different devices, and with couple of win10 and 11 versions.
