Hello! I recently bought a Dell Chromebook 3445 off eBay, it has the jumper un-WP method and I’ve tried a Suzy-Qable and a wire (just how it’s supposed to work). I’ve also tried these two methods without the battery and the Chromebook is still write-protected. Am I doing something wrong?
(this is not Windows related but I put the Windows tag since I want to install it on this thing)
what does that mean “you’ve tried”? what did you do exactly?
disconnecting the battery does nothing on this device.
WHITERUN requires WP disablement via SuzyQ in order to disable RO firmware verification. Follow the instructions and tell us exactly what you did and what the output/response was when the process breaks down.
I have already fixed this, I used the Suzy-Qable without the commands (the gsctool thing and etc.)
