I’ve been trying to tame the cpu temperature but I’ve discovered something odd.
The CPU temperature indicated by ectool is drasticly less than that in sysfs. I’m trying to use the fw-fanctrl utility to set a fan curve, but it is using this temperature from the EC which seems to not be realistic at all.
anybody had any experience with this? I have repasted the CPU yesterday when upgrading my eMMC. How does the ec get the CPU temperature?
