Issues with restoring stock firmware

I have been trying to re install chrome os with mr Chromebox but while restoring the firmware there was no option to re download it and instead it just showed this with no way to download it & i have tried using a usb download to install it but it has not worked

what “doesn’t work”?

the options seem pretty clear, no? You either need a USB with a firmware backup created by the script, or you need a ChromeOS recovery USB for FLEEX.

when attempting to use the usb to return the os back to normal it works until halfway through in witch the program crashes

which option? provide a log or screenshot. you can’t expect us to debug anything from the info provided
