So, my chromebook is the kind with a backlit keyboard, and as such I thought ectool would be a nice thing to install, however, when I download it from the link provided in the ‘using ectool’ section of the documentation, it just downloads a blank file with no file extension, that I don’t know how to get working?
Referencing it within the terminal along with commands doesn’t seem to work, I’m not sure if I’m meant to put it somewhere or somehow install it through this purposeless file, all other discussions I could find seem to have gotten it working at least, I’m not sure if the download is currently corrupted or if I’m not understanding something here.
