Is it possible to only run Linux on RW_LEGACY?

Title says it all. I want to only run Linux, however i dont have a SuzyQable. Is it possible to just wipe the entire drive and only exclusively run Linux?

yes, with limitations:

  • stock ChromeOS firmware ACPI is buggy
  • suspend may or may not work
  • without WP disabled, you’ll have the developer mode screen on every boot
  • one can easily accidentally exit developer mode, causing you to lose the ability to boot any OS

it’s not recommended or supported. RW_LEGACY is for dual booting ChromeOS on non-EOL devices.
