Intel SOF Audio Coolstar not working

Summary of the Issue

No audio coming from the speaker neither when headphones are connected. In audio settings there is only “Headphones” but no speaker. However in device manager, coolstar sof in its logs is: “Device CSAUDIO\ADSP&CTLR_VEN_8086&CTLR_DEV_4DC8\4&6eb0049&0&268435456 had a problem starting.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Buy Intel SOF Audo Coolstar

  2. Download the driver

  3. Run csaudiointcsof.1.0.5-1-installer.exe

  4. Install the driver

  5. Run GenLicense.exe and generate the license

  6. Activate the license on the Coolstar website

  7. Insert it into GenLicense.exe

  8. After success, close all windows and reboot

  9. After its on the desktop again, the audio doesnt work at all

  10. Make sure all drivers are installed (wont help much)

Expected Behavior

There shoudlve been “speaker”, but its not. Headphones shouldve worked and Speaker shouldve worked.
